THE LAKEHOUSE is a full service creative studio based in Düsseldorf.
Our leadership team has over 60 years of combined experience in advertising, marketing and consulting at almost every major network agency you can think of: from AKQA to Grey, thjnk, BBDO, TBWA, Serviceplan to Saatchi & Saatchi.
Shortly after we founded THE LAKEHOUSE in 2020, we started working for ECOVACS Europe and have been doing so ever since. Please find a selection of our work for ECOVACS here on this page.
THE GIFT OF TIME
Our first project for ECOVACS was a Christmas activation in December 2020. Within four weeks from briefing to go live we’ve developed a successful activation campaign which led to more that 20,000 submissions (= new leads) at a cost of well under 2 euros media invest per lead. (Case website here.)
PRIME DAY 2021
Another quick turnaround for Prime Day 2021: We utilized exisiting footage and developed a two-phased, pan-European sales campaign for Amazon’s Prime Day in no time.
LAUNCHING 2021’S FLAGSHIP
In 2021, ECOVACS asked us to develop a digital launch campaign for their new flagship product: the T9 robotic vacuum cleaner. After having developed a variety of routes (incl. strategy, positioning, messaging and creative alternatives) our a full digital funnel campaign went into production. We developed cross-funnel campaign assets (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Google Display Netweok etc.), which led users across Europe to a multi-language landing page optimized for conversion.
A TOOLKIT FOR D-A-CH
For promoting their products in social media, ECOVACS needed a flexible platform which could integrate existing assets in a new way. Based on the ECOVACS brand identity, we developed a toolkit for an easy-to-create and easy-to-recognise collage-based format which is adaptable for any product, any format and any target group.




AIRBOT Z1 LAUNCH
In 2022, ECOVACS added a whole new category to its product range. The Airbot Z1 is a mobile air cleaning robot. We developed the European launch campaign for the new member of the ECOVACS family.
BLACK FRIDAY 2022
For Black Friday 2022, we were briefed to integrate ECOVACS‘ new slogan „When you advance, you win“ into a pan-European campaign. THE LAKEHOUSE transcreated the slogan into several European languages and produced video assets for the upper part as well as static assets for the performance part of the funnel.
